Vintage Casserole/Lidded Serving Bowl
By California Pottery (I believe)
Nice mocha brown casserole dish with rusty orange leaf designs on it
Body is round a tapered being slightly smaller at the bottom
The leaves are slightly raised from the pot
There is a scalloped edge along the rim
The lid has more orange leaves on it, but in a different design and a different shade of brown then the body
Also has knob on top with a leaf on it
There is also a cut into the lid, so a spoon and be left in under the lid
The bottom as USA, 374 and a very hard to read California (again it is hard to read so not positive on that)
Nice size bow with lid
Great for soups and stews in the fall
Both decorative and functional

Measure approx 9″ diameter at widest to outside scallop edge rim x 7.75″ top inner diameter x 6.75″ diameter at bottom x 4.25″ tall body x 7.75 tall with lid to top of knob
There is one repaired chip on the edge of the the lid, where you can see that the piece does not fit in exactly flush
Otherwise, no real signs of wear
No chips or cracks to the bowl
Very good shape
